Brain Party ("Brain Party", "the app", "we", "us") is a multiplayer trivia and quiz game for mobile devices. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use Brain Party, how we use it, the third-party services we rely on, and the choices available to you.

The app is operated under the Brain Party name and published on Google Play by KERLOS ROMANY. Questions about this policy or your data may be sent to brainparty890@gmail.com.

1. Data we collect

1.1 Account information

When you sign in with Google, we may receive the following information:

• Your Google account email address.
• Your Google account display name.
• Your Google profile photo URL, if available.
• A unique Google user identifier used for authentication.

We also ask you to set a display name that is visible to other players in lobbies and matches. You may use an in-app avatar or profile image option where available.

1.2 Gameplay activity

To operate multiplayer games, we process gameplay information such as:

• Rooms you create or join and room codes.
• Match state, scores, winners, categories played, and match timing.
• Your connection state for reconnect and game-continuity logic.
• Lobby chat messages while a room is active.

Lobby chat messages are temporary. They are used only during the active room session and are not stored in our database after the room ends.

1.3 Device and technical information

We may process limited technical information required to operate the service:

• App version and operating system version.
• Approximate IP address visible to our server during network requests.
• Basic server logs used to diagnose errors, abuse, and service issues.

Server logs may temporarily contain user IDs, IP addresses, timestamps, and technical error details. Logs are kept only as long as needed for security and troubleshooting and are deleted or rotated after no more than 30 days.

1.4 Push notification token

If you allow notifications, Firebase Cloud Messaging assigns your device a push token. We use this token to send general announcements such as feature updates, maintenance notices, or important service messages. In the current release, notifications are general broadcasts and are not used for advertising.

1.5 Data we do not collect

• We do not request or access your precise location.
• We do not request or access your camera or microphone.
• We do not request or access your contacts or call logs.
• We do not request or access your photo or media library.
• We do not collect health, financial, biometric, or sensitive personal data.
• We do not process payment information. The current release has no in-app purchases or subscriptions.
• We do not use advertising identifiers in the current release.

2. How we use data

• Authentication: to let you sign in and keep your account secure.
• Gameplay: to create rooms, join matches, synchronize questions, calculate scores, and show results.
• Player visibility: to show your display name, avatar, and score to other players in the same room.
• Notifications: to send general announcements if you allow push notifications.
• Security and reliability: to detect errors, support reconnect logic, prevent abuse, and operate the service.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it with data brokers.

3. Advertising and analytics

Brain Party does not show advertisements in the current release and does not use the Android Advertising ID for advertising purposes.

Brain Party does not use Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics, or another analytics SDK in the current release.

If we introduce advertising or analytics in a future version, we will update this Privacy Policy before enabling those features and will describe the provider, the data used, and the choices available to users.

4. Third-party services

4.1 Google Sign-In / Google LLC

We use Google Sign-In so you can authenticate with your Google account. Google's Privacy Policy applies to Google's own services: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

4.2 Supabase / Supabase Inc.

We use Supabase to store and manage app data such as accounts, profiles, gameplay metadata, and game content. Supabase's Privacy Policy is available at: https://supabase.com/privacy.

4.3 Firebase Cloud Messaging / Google LLC

We use Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver push notifications. Firebase privacy and security information is available at: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy. You can revoke notification permission at any time from your device settings.

4.4 Game server / Hetzner Cloud

We operate a WebSocket-based game server hosted on Hetzner Cloud in Germany/EU to coordinate real-time matches. The game server handles temporary in-memory match state and routes persistent data through Supabase where applicable. 5. Children and age restriction

Brain Party is intended for users aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe that a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, please contact us at brainparty890@gmail.com and we will take appropriate steps to delete the information.

6. Data retention

• Account and profile data: retained while your account exists.
• Gameplay metadata: retained while your account exists or as needed to operate the service.
• Lobby chat: temporary only during the active room session and not stored after the room ends.
• Push notification tokens: retained while notifications are enabled and deleted when no longer needed or when your account is deleted.
• Server logs: deleted or rotated after no more than 30 days.

7. Account and data deletion

7.1 Delete your account inside the app

You can request account deletion from inside the app:

1. Open Brain Party.
2. Go to the profile area from the home screen.
3. Select Delete account / حذف الحساب.
4. Confirm the deletion request.

Account deletion removes your profile, account-related gameplay metadata, and push notification token from our systems where technically possible and legally required. Some temporary logs may remain for a short period until they are automatically rotated or deleted.

7.2 Delete your account by email

If you cannot access the app, you can request account and data deletion by emailing us at brainparty890@gmail.com from the email address associated with your Brain Party account. Please include "Brain Party Account Deletion" in the subject line. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

7.3 Accessing or correcting your data

You can update your visible profile information in the app where available. To request a copy, correction, or deletion of data associated with your account, contact us at brainparty890@gmail.com.

8. Security

We use HTTPS/WSS for network traffic where applicable. Authentication is handled through Google Sign-In. Database access is controlled using backend security rules and service-side controls. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect user data.

9. International processing

Brain Party and its service providers may process data in countries where our infrastructure and providers operate, including the European Union and other regions used by Google, Firebase, Supabase, and Hetzner. By using the app, you understand that your data may be processed outside your country of residence.

10. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of your personal information. To make a privacy request, contact us at brainparty890@gmail.com.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. For material changes, we may also notify users through the app or by push notification.
